  1. # Matrix 8XV1.2 OG keyboard

  5. This was the Matrix 8XV1.2 OG keyboard made by the Matrix team.  
  6. Note: This firmware only supports ANSI only version (green/yellow PCB), and DOES NOT support the 8XV1.2 OG ISO/ANSI version.

  12. Make example for this keyboard (after setting up your build environment):

  17. **Bootloader:**  
  19. Hold down ESC while plugging in the keyboard. The board will show up as a mass storage device on your computer. Drag and drop the compiled firmware .bin file into it. The board will automatically reset and load the new firmware.  
  21. :no_entry: **DO NOT DO THIS ON A MAC OS SYSTEM! IT WILL PERMANENTLY BRICK THE KEYBOARD!!!**
