lrc — Lyrics file format

lrc is a simple file format comparable to srt but made for lyrics instead. Square and angle brackets are used to enclose metadata.

ID tags that may appear before the lyrics, some players might not recognise this or simply ignore them.

Overall timestamp adjustment in milliseconds, + shifts times up, - shifts down

They start with a timestamp in minutes:seconds.hundredths of a second enclosed in square brackets. An enhancement also allows to enclose timestamps in the middle of lines into angle brackets.
